We invite you to the grand opening of our newest gallery/exhibition space in the Pioneer Square Arts District, in the F.X. McRory Building @ 419 Occidental Avenue South.
Since 1994 J. Franklin Fine Art has specialized in the acquisition and sale of the best art created in the Pacific Northwest between 1870 and 1970. Our new gallery, JFX Modern will continue this tradition of handling only the finest in regional artists, with a focus on Northwest studio ceramics from the 1940s to today, including work by Rudy Autio, F Carlton Ball, Paul Bonifas, Betty Feves, Clayton James, Howard Kottler, Louis Mideke, Frances Senska, David Shaner, Robert Sperry, Peter Voulkos, Patti Warashina, etc. In addition to regional artists the gallery will also carry work by nationally prominent ceramicists including Laura Andreson, Rose Cabat, Karen Karnes, Gertrud & Otto Natzler, and Mary & Edwin Scheier.
The gallery is by appointment only, but please feel free to call and schedule a visit or discuss your collecting interests at any time.
